Love is in the air this week, as we have officially launched our Valentine’s Day competition. This year see’s us giving away £150 worth of window blinds of any type and colour to one very lucky customer….and on top of that we will measure and fit the blinds free of charge too!

There are two very simply ways of entering the competition:

1)      Print out the voucher below, filling in all of the details and call into one of our showrooms to hand it in.

PANTONE Colour of the Year 2012 – Tangerine Tango

Colour specialists Pantone have named the vibrant shade of ‘Tangerine Tango’ the colour to watch out for this year. So it’s goodbye from last year’s ‘Honeysuckle’, and a warm hello to this year’s ‘Tangerine Tango’.

Described as “a spirited reddish orange” Tangerine Tango is set to manifest itself strongly in fashion, interior design and home interiors.

“Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive. Reminiscent of the radiant shading of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy,” according to a Pantone executive.

The vibrant shade has already appeared in catwalks for the spring/summer 2012 collections with designers such as Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Diane von Furstenberg and Hermes all featuring the colour in their work and the vibrant orange is set to continue to grow in popularity.

Pillows, bedspreads and tabletop accessories in this high-impact hue add spice to any room. Or incorporate Tangerine Tango appliances and personal electronics for an unexpected pop of colour. Looking for an inexpensive way to perk up your home? Paint a wall in Tangerine Tango for a dynamic burst of energy in the kitchen, entryway or hallway.

So what has inspired the trend and love of orange this year? All’s we know is that it’s set to be this years in colour and we love it!

After toying with the idea of a blog for quite a few months we have taken a plunge into the unknown and decided to make a go of it.

To become your source of information for all things window blinds would be brilliant and that’s what we hope to do, but article after article on window blinds could get a bit boring to some of our readers. Our aim is to supply you with lots of useful information on pretty much anything to do with home interiors, like the latest trends and styles, money saving tips, new products etc! Hopefully enough good articles and entertainment to keep you coming back and getting involved.

At the same time we want to give you more of an insight into our company, so what goes on behind the scenes, not just the supplying you with a window blind, but the events we attend in order to gain fresh ideas to pass on to you, the suppliers we meet with, and the workers who help us make these wonderful products.
