Over the last year we have been working behind the scenes with one of our key suppliers to bring you an exciting new roller and vertical blind collection. The new fabrics create lease of life to the books bringing them right up to date in terms of interior design trends and colour ways. As well We have also done extensive research into what trends and colour palettes are going to becoming into fashion over the next two years.
The facts first…the size of the book. We have made slight adjustments to the width of the book which has enabled us to create larger sample sizes making it easier to show more of the fabric and easier to find the perfect sample when browsing.
Now the exciting part of the book…the fabrics! Obviously we would like to show you every fabric form the collection but then there would be no surprises when you come to browse through the books! However, we have picked out some of the key fabrics that create this exciting new collection and have showcased them below. Enjoy!
Carnival
With our premier plains range Carnival we’ve been able to keep a fab and comprehensive range of a whopping 48 colours, but we’ve deleted 15 colours and replaced them with 15 gorgeous new ones. This year, we’ve presented the range in four attractive colour themes. Pastel pops, beautiful brights, the heritage collection and classics! From punchy Peppermints to Farrow & Ball inspired selection of colours and everything in between.
Como Ocra
Como is known for its spectacular lakes, idyllic shorelines, dramatic scenery and dreamy sunsets – all of which encapsulate this design, hence the name! This is a look we loved at all of the international trade shows and the high end interior design showrooms. The design is so fashionable due to its bold brush-stroke stripes in an on trend loose watercolour style. The overall look is striking because of the statement accent colours, although it is nicely balanced by the modern neutrals that make up the majority of the design.
Farrah Copper
Farrah is another one of the new flagship luxury designs. It’s a look that has been seen at all of the international trade shows and from the high end interior designers, a luxury take on the tribal trend, combining fashionable and sumptuous colours, a high degree of lustre, dramatic design and a textured detail in the base cloth.
Pebbles Chartreuse
Pebbles allows us to give our faithful friend the stripe a contemporary twist. The pebble motif is arranged in a horizontal, slightly wavy effect to achieve a more playful look, it makes the fabric more blind friendly too! Pebbles is striking not only because of the design, but because each colourway is made up of contrasting but complimentary colours and is interspersed with metallic lustre and woven texture.
Night Night
Wish upon a star with this gorgeous fabric. Clouds, moons and stars are the new whimsical trend in kiddy rooms, it’s a sweet theme that suits all ages, and both boys and girls. This calming grey fabric is perfect and will work well with accent pops of colour within the room. The base cloth is blackout, so it’s perfect for a good nights sleep. The best part however, is the fact that the stars glow in the dark! A really fun feature (that works!) and will certainly set our children’s fabric apart from others in the market.
Tropicana Apple Mojito
The tropical print is a huge trend that’s filtered from the catwalk through to home interiors. With “Tropicana” we have embraced this trend, offering a modern, statement large scale floral print that would make even the gloomiest of rooms come alive. The combination of lush foliage and explosions of colour will evoke feelings of a tropical paradise. This lush, all-over design is made up of loose watercolour technique, (a look we can’t emphasise enough as a big trend!).
Woodland
Woodland gives a nod to Scandinavian style where its muted monochrome hues and linear structure create a crisp winter woodland landscape. The bright white base cloth has been selected specifically to allow the light to softy filter through, just as it would on a bright winter’s morning.
We are really excited about the new collection and hope this sample gives you a taste of what the complete collection has to offer. Our showroom displays have also had a complete update and are well worth a visit to gain some interior inspiration.
