IKEA have been known to do collaborations in the past, but this October they’ll be debuting one of their most exciting collaborations yet, as they team up with HAY. For those of you who don’t know, HAY is a luxury Danish homeware brand that has captivated the UK market for many years with their simple Scandi designs. So, naturally IKEA’s collaboration with the brand lends us to believe that we will be getting HAY quality homeware but with the affordable IKEA prices. Named as the ‘Ypperlig’ collection, it’s a range that’s due to sell out fast and most likely be worth more value than what it’s sold for.
Ever since Pantone announced the colour of 2017 as ‘Greenery’, there’s been shades of green everywhere. In the Ypperlig collection you’ll find many items reflecting this trend with all shades of green cropping up from a deep moss colour to a pale teal. If you’re not already re-enamoured with the colour, you will be now.

The items are also due to be very much design-led in their composition – most likely all thanks to HAY’s expert design team. Take this mirror for example.
